Push It Up – Week 5, Day 1

Quick update tonight…progress test last night (well, more like 12:30AM this morning) – didn’t push myself as hard as I could have, got a 35 – which was RIGHT at the end of column one. I have been in column two the first four weeks, so I was a little mad at myself…but I made up for it with a nutso 5th set.
17, 19, 15, 15, 50 (max set, min of 20)
Get to do 3 more sets starting Tuesday. The fun is just beginning!

And no need to be mad at yourself…. it certainly wasn’t for any lack of putting in the time and effort…. programs like these are sometimes a little unrealistic. Still, exercise is always a good thing, and as long as you don’t let yourself get frustrated and aren’t too proud to re-do weeks that didn’t go so well for you, I have no doubt you’ll reach your goal of doing one hundred pushups in one go. Honestly though, even if you don’t, just the fact that you are doing strength exercises in addition to cardio is killer.
